Turkey, Caramalised Onion & Apple with Goats cheese & Celeriac Slaw

Big on Taste, Big on Flavour

This fab recipe is so on trend, if your not a fan of goats cheese then replace with brie…ok its a tad indulgent but you deserve it and remember the patty is only 1/2 Kcals of a standard beef burger!


  • The Original
  • 2 Lean & Greens Turkey, Quinoa, Kale & Caremelised Onion
  • 3 Heaped tbsp. of Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 Of a Head of Celeriac Grated
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple Finely Sliced into Match Sticks
  • 1 Tsp. Grain Mustard
  • 1/2 A Lemon Juiced
  • 1 Pinch of Flaked Sea Salt
  • 1/2 a log of Goats Cheese Sliced
  • Handful of Crunchy Pea Shoots


Step 1

Firstly mix the celeriac with the salt and leave for 10 mins to draw out the water.

Step 2

Then mix with the apple, mayonnaise, grain mustard and lemon juice and set aside.

Step 3

Sear the patty on both side until you have a good golden caramelised colour and place in the oven for 5 – 8 mins until cooked.

To serve

Lightly toast the brioche bun in the oven or on a grill pan. Place the goats cheese or cheese of choice on top of the patty and return to the oven for 1 min. Place the patty onto the bun and top with pea shoots.

Serve with the crunchy celeriac slaw and enjoy with wedges or triple cooked chips.
